I just got news that I made first alternate in the Tumbleweed Folk Festival's songwriting competition! This year, they had a record number of submissions, so it is a great honor for me. The song is about a chicago home that my grandparents built in the 50's...

Jennifer and I have been working hard over the last few months putting together a new small buisiness called INDIE INTERNATIONAL. It is an international songwriting contest that is also designed to give solid feeback to contestants from reputable industry professionals for their songs. I am honored to currently be playing guitar for the SOS (sound of swing) Big Band in Bellevue. Every Tuesday...come out swing dancing at the Bellevue Community Center...bring your partner...the joint is jumpin' to the likes of Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Glenn Miller, and others.
What can I say...The northwest is flourishing with art and music...I love it. Jennifer and I have been meeting some wonderful new friends and musicians here...
