What is the minimum age for taking lessons?

Students must be at least 11 years old.

Should parents sit in the first lesson?

Yes, I strongly encourage parents/guardians to sit in on the first lesson. For younger students, the parent should have a good understanding of how to help direct the students' practice routine at home so they can get the most out of lessons.

I'm a beginner. What kind of guitar should I get?

For beginners, the best is an electric guitar. The sound of an acoustic guitar can be fantastic, but in most cases, an acoustic guitar can be almost impossible for a beginning student to get to sound nice in the early stages of learning. In my experience, this generally discourages the student and they quit wanting to practice/learn. This is awful!

What method of payments do you accept?

I accept payments via credit card, personal or e-check, or cash (always most appreciated). Payments are handled through PayPal under my company name Planetary Enterprises LLC - Indie International.
